Explore the Riviera Maya in two wheels

Playa del Carmen is a city in constant urban & touristic development that has extended its territory between jungle and seashore, despite the human presence you can still smell the vibe of the fishermen’s town that this land used to be and when the most used vehicle was the motorcycle and bike. Two wheels are still a fav for the locals and tourists that are anxious to discover new places around this tropical paradise.
For those who wanna know where to ride and roll, we share these 3 options to use some of the complementary services for your personal adventures.
BASIC
Get on your bike wherever you are and go to 10th avenue (parallel to 5th avenue, you will find a bike road that starts on the corner of Constituyentes and the Quinta Alegria Mall, traffic on the bike road is easy and if you see people walking over, honk the horn because you have preference, in less than 1km you will find Paseos del Carmen, another mall where you can complete the first phase of this route. On the way to this stop, you have several options to have a beer or hydrate yourself. If you still have the energy go to Playacar Residential and drive through the circuit, you can come back through the same bike road from where you began.

INTERMEDIATE
If you’re looking for less noise, fewer people and more space to run your bike, ride it straight through CTM street. You can start your route from any place on 10th avenue, going north you will find 38th street, turn right and go straight you’ll find 5th avenue where you can roll on through (From this point of 38th and 5th ave. all vehicles are allowed for transit) keep going north and you will find CTM street, if you look to your right you can see the sea, nice way to end this tour splashing in the water, drink a beverage on Canibal Royal or get a massage on the beach.

ADVANCED
For the ones looking for a long route, isolated views with a chill vibe and a natural environment, there is the bike road on one side of the federal highway. Get oriented from 10th street, you can start up from Paseos del Carmen (where you end the BASIC tour) the best way to get to the bike road is driving into Playacar. (There is an information spot at the entrance where you can ask and check a map) from there you will ride over 1.5 km to get to the Playacar entrance from the Federal Highway, where you turn left and take the bike road on Tulum direction (to confirm your location check the Clinical Hospiten). This tour takes you away from the urban side to the natural side of Playa del Carmen, all secure through the jungle, if you got enough energy to make it, you can get to Xcaret and come back safe, recommended to make it during sunrise for the colors and the time taken.
